Chapter 16 ~ Pic and Chapter Teasers

She was happy and content to not open her eyes and just languish in a morning daze. She could hear the last movie they had watched the night before playing in the back ground. After watching one of Jack's favorites, Toy Story, they popped in The Lion King. Jack had passed out shortly after Scar killed Mufasa and Bella followed not long behind him. The movie must have played on repeat all night, but she wondered briefly why Edward hadn't turned it off.
"It's our motto," she heard Pumbaa say on the tv.
"What's a motto?" Simba asked.
"Nothing. What's a motto with you?" Timon replied.
That part of the movie never failed to crack her up. She giggled and felt an arm wrap around her waist. Surprised by the movement, her eyes opened slowly and connected with smiling green ones.
"What's so funny?" Edward asked in a voice that was deep and gravelly from sleep.

Fandom for Preemies
Interested in a special, one-of-a-kind, unique Outtake from Parachute? How about probably the *only* Jack POV?
Well, that's what I'll be contributing to Fandom for Preemies! The fundraiser starts November 1st!
I've never really given a lot of thought to writing a JackPOV, but after some careful consideration and a pretty decent outline, Jack's POV will be donated to the Preemies cause! I've sorted it out as a 3 sections/parts (~2K words each): '05, '08 and '10 (current day), all tying together around a specific theme, Victoria.
Preterm birth is a serious problem affecting children across the world. Every year over 20 million children worldwide are born prematurely. Over 1 million of these children will not survive. 1 in 10 of those who do survive will face life-long health complications and risks directly associated with their preterm birth, including serious complications such as cerebral palsy.
The reality is frightening, but it's not hopeless! Thanks to the work of the March of Dimes and its global partners, the survival rate of premature infants is higher than it has ever been.
During Prematurity Awareness Month this November, Fandom for Preemies, with your help, will raise funds to support the March of Dimes as they work to eliminate this global issue. The March of Dimes is the world's largest nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. In 2009 alone, they contributed over 20.3 million dollars to eliminate preterm birth, birth defects and infant mortality across the globe.
In thanks for your support of this worthy cause, fanfiction authors across the fandom will donate one-shots, story outtakes and original works for a compilation. Those who donate a minimum of $5 to the March of Dimes during the month of November will receive this compilation in appreciation.
